Founded in 1979, The Heart Center is one of the nation's largest private cardiac and vascular facilities with 28 board certified cardiovascular specialist and over 200 highly trained support staff. The state of the art facility encompasses more than 90,000 sq. feet, offers a full spectrum of patient focused, centrally managed cardiovascular care and sets the benchmark with its diagnostic testing and in house Catheterization lab. Our patients receive same day testing and diagnosis from our nationally accredited 64 slice CT, PET, nuclear and vascular Imaging labs.

The Heart Center partners with the regions award winning Huntsville Hospital. Established in 1895, Huntsville Hospital is one of the largest locally owned not for profit hospitals in the nation and second largest in the state with 881 licensed acute care beds. The hospital is a level I Regional Trauma Center and serves as a regional referral center for 10 counties. Hospital awards include the Alabama Excellence Award and Silver Team Awards for Stroke Care and Surgical Infection Prevention; the Consumer Choice Award from the National Research Corporation; and the VHA Clinical Excellence Award for Heart Attack Treatment.
